Tired of Bouncing Between Windows?

Most security environments are a complex stack of disparate tools. Even with costly integrations, operators still lose critical context switching between screens, duplicating data entry, and trying to connect the dots during an incident. When every second counts, this friction creates risk.

Siloed tools, brittle integrations, and version sprawl don't just create IT headaches—they delay response times and leave security gaps.

The #1 concern with cloud platforms?
"What happens if connectivity drops?"
With WaveFusion, your security never depends on the internet.

Local Decisioning at the Edge

  • Access control decisions happen at the controller level—not in the cloud
  • Doors continue operating during WAN, internet, or cloud outages
  • No manual intervention required when connectivity returns
  • Zero security gaps, zero downtime for critical access points

Plus AWS Multi-AZ Architecture

  • Multi-availability zone deployment eliminates single points of failure
  • Regional hosting ensures data residency compliance
  • No manual intervention required when connectivity returns
  • 99.9% platform uptime backed by enterprise SLAs

Cloud-first doesn't mean cloud-dependent. WaveFusion gives you the best of both worlds: intelligent automation when connected, uninterrupted operation when not.

Stop Stitching. Start Unifying.

Traditional "Integrated" Approach

WaveFusion Unified Security Platform

Multiple systems with different data models
One event stream with shared context
Sync delays between platforms
Real-time, consistent data across all services
Context lost when switching screens
Full situational awareness in one interface
Brittle integrations that break with updates
Purpose-built unified architecture
CapEx-heavy projects
Subscription-based with predictable costs
Version sprawl across components
Evergreen updates, always current

The shift isn't just technical—it's operational.

Integrations reduce gaps between systems. Unification removes them entirely.

From Signal to Action—In One Platform

WaveFusion creates a seamless workflow that enables automation, saves critical minutes, and drives continuous improvement.

1

Signal Collection

All your devices and sensors—from cameras to door readers—send real-time signals and events to the unified platform.

2

Intelligence Processing

The platform instantly processes identity, event, and video data to create comprehensive situational context.

3

Automated Response

The policy and automation engine executes pre-defined actions or presents clear options to operators, all within the same interface.

Browser-Based Control. No Heavy Clients.

Your operators and approvers shouldn't be chained to a specific workstation with proprietary software installed.

Local Decisioning at the Edge

  • Any modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari)
  • Any major operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Office, home, or mobile—securely authenticated

What This Eliminates

  • No client software installation or updates
  • No version compatibility issues
  • No "I can only do this from the security office" bottlenecks
  • Lower IT support burden for endpoint management

Leadership can approve access requests from anywhere. Operators can respond to incidents from any workstation. IT doesn't have to manage another desktop application.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is WaveFusion priced — is it a per-door, per-user, or per-site subscription?

WaveFusion uses a simple, subscription-based licensing model. Pricing scales with the number of doors and devices under management — not per operator seat. This means you can add as many users and operators as you need without incremental licence costs. Contact us for a tailored quote based on your deployment size.

We currently use a competing access control system. What does migration to WaveFusion look like?

Because WaveFusion is built on industry-standard HID/Mercury controllers, migration is straightforward if you already use Mercury hardware — your existing controllers and readers stay in place. For sites running non-Mercury infrastructure, our technical team will conduct a site assessment and provide a phased migration plan that minimises disruption. In most cases, the transition can be completed without taking doors offline.

Where is my data stored, and does video footage leave my premises?

Video footage is stored locally on your own infrastructure — it never leaves your site. Only metadata, control signals, and configuration data are synced to the AWS cloud for platform management and remote access. AWS regional hosting ensures all cloud-side data complies with local data residency regulations (e.g., UK GDPR, EU data protection laws).

Does WaveFusion meet specific compliance requirements like Cyber Essentials, SOC 2, or NDAA?

Wavestore is committed to meeting the highest security and compliance standards. The platform operates on AWS infrastructure which holds SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other enterprise certifications. WaveFusion's architecture is designed to support NDAA-compliant deployments and aligns with Cyber Essentials requirements. Contact us for the latest certification documentation relevant to your sector.

Can WaveFusion manage multiple sites from a single dashboard?

Yes. WaveFusion's cloud-native architecture enables centralised management of all your sites from a single browser-based interface. You can monitor door status, review events, manage credentials, and enforce policies across geographically distributed locations — without needing a VPN or dedicated workstation at each site.

What uptime guarantees does WaveFusion offer, and what happens if the platform experiences an outage?

WaveFusion is backed by a 99.9% platform uptime SLA, underpinned by AWS Multi-Availability Zone architecture. Even in the unlikely event of a cloud outage, your access control continues to operate normally — all door decisions are made locally at the controller level. When connectivity is restored, the platform re-syncs automatically with no manual intervention required.

Does WaveFusion include AI-powered analytics or is that a separate add-on?

WaveFusion's intelligence engine processes identity, event, and video data in real time to deliver situational awareness and automated responses. As the platform evolves through its phased roadmap, advanced analytics capabilities — including AI-driven anomaly detection and behavioural pattern recognition — will be layered into the unified experience. These will be included within the platform subscription, not sold as bolt-on modules.

Can I set different access levels for operators, managers, and IT administrators?

Absolutely. WaveFusion supports role-based access control (RBAC), allowing you to define granular permission levels for different user types. For example, operators can monitor events and respond to alarms, managers can approve access requests and view reports, while IT administrators manage system configuration and integrations. This ensures every user sees only what they need — reducing risk and improving workflow efficiency.

Can I manage WaveFusion from a mobile device?

Yes. Because WaveFusion is entirely browser-based, it works on any device with a modern web browser — including smartphones and tablets. Managers can approve access requests, review alerts, and monitor site status from anywhere with a secure internet connection. No mobile app installation is required.

When will Phase 2 (full video unification) be available, and will I need to upgrade?

Phase 2 is currently in development and will bring Wavestore's advanced video management capabilities directly into the WaveFusion platform. Existing Phase 1 customers will receive Phase 2 features as a seamless platform update — no migration, no reinstallation. Join our mailing list to be the first to hear about Phase 2 milestones and early-access opportunities.

What training and support is available when we deploy WaveFusion?

Every WaveFusion deployment includes guided onboarding with our technical team, covering system configuration, policy setup, and operator training. Because the interface is browser-based and intuitive, most operators are proficient within hours, not days. Ongoing support is provided directly by Wavestore's UK-based engineering team — not outsourced call centres.

Can WaveFusion integrate with my existing building management or IT systems (e.g., Active Directory, HR platforms)?

WaveFusion is designed with an open integration framework. It supports synchronisation with enterprise directories like Active Directory and LDAP for automated user provisioning and credential management. Further integrations with HR systems, visitor management platforms, and building management systems are part of the platform's evolving roadmap. Contact us to discuss your specific integration requirements.
